Hmmm. First, they'll have to take the reins off that prevent offense that they run. The Leafs sit on the lead far too much. But their downfall will be the fact that they spend too much time fighting and too little time skating.
It's tough to win 4 games in a series when you spend as much time as they do in the penalty box.It helps that the conference stinks but they'll get whacked by Ottawa.

if the leafs face ottawa again this year, it will be the 4th year in a row the leafs hand the sens their golf clubs!

and with reference to your penalty comments, you are right they take way too many penalties. But come playoff time, that will change and they will be more disciplined.
even Quinn said that from now until the playoffs they have a lot of team building to do.
especially after today whne we get one more D man and maybe KILLER back in T.O. that would rule!

To many new bodies to add this late in the season. Corson and others bitched about to little ice time before, can only imagine the crying they will be doing now. I hope it totally screws up the chemestry/balance of the team. To hear leafs fans talk about how these trades make them a cup winner makes me laugh.
